The board is quiet on purpose
A healthy plant is a dark board. Color appears only when something needs you: amber
means caution, red means alarm. An empty alarm panel is itself information.
You operate through instruments — and instruments can lie
Every number on this board comes from a sensor that lags, drifts, and can fail.
The plant's protection systems read the same sensors you do. At Three Mile Island a
valve indicator read closed while the valve was stuck open — this simulator will
do that to you, on purpose, with no visual tell. Cross-check your indications.
Where everything lives
⚛️ Mission line (top right, under the clock) — switch reactors, start the
training campaign, scenarios, or procedure walkthroughs.
📖 Manual — the Operator's Manual: controls, indications, setpoints, normal
values, and followable procedures.
⏪ Rewind (by the strip chart) — go back in time. Failure is never Game Over;
rewind and try a different path.
System Scanner (bottom right) — hover or tap anything on the board and the
scanner tells you what it is and what it's for.
